We're crawling around in low tunnels right? No-one likes to bump their head!

Time to Give the Ming a Ding! Let's Play Break the Ming Vase!

It's a delicate, precious, ming vase!

You have taken the vase and hurled it delicately to the ground.

Oriental Room
This is the oriental room. Ancient oriental cave drawings cover the walls. A gently sloping passage leads upward to the north, another passage leads se, and a hands and knees crawl leads west.

The floor is littered with worthless shards of pottery.

>x pottery
They look to be the remains of what was once a beautiful vase. I guess some oaf must have dropped it.

You're carrying too many things already.

You are carrying:
a few recent issues of "Spelunker Today"
a dwarvish axe
a small bottle
some bottled water
a fresh batteries
a black rod with a rusty star on the end
a wicker cage (which is closed)
a little bird
a brass lantern (providing light)

>drop magazines
Dropped.

If anyone wants to juggle the inventory, let me know, but for now we're leaving the magazines.

Taken!

[Your score has just gone up by seven points.]

>wear vase
You can't wear that!

You're really more of a summer.

Okay. So, established: a delicate Ming vase is very, very easy to break. Well done. You have demonstrated your skill at destroying very fragile priceless objects.

quote:

>x drawings
They seem to depict people and animals.

People and animals, you say. How... non-specific.

I say we take this priceless vase and deposit it at the wellhouse.

What a concept! However:

Nonsense. It's clearly a fake. I mean, what kind of person would put a Chinese vase in a dwarf-filled cave in North America?

Let's go west.

CaptainCaveman posted:

Look in vase. Also, did we really just take a large chunk of bedrock? (Was the 'You're joking' message in response to eating it or the implied taking?)

Take vase, go north.

The "you're joking" was in response to attempting to pick up the bedrock block, so we don't have it (as you saw from the inventory listing I just did, I suppose).

Since we can't do all of these, we'll do the closer ones; I'll go west and then, if it's easy to get back from that room, north, and we'll deposit the vase next time we have a chance to run back to the well house.

But first:

Large Low Room
You are in a large low room. Crawls lead north, se, and sw.

Well, can't go east, although southeast might do the job. Where to now, folks?
