Bat Pokémon

Zubat remains quietly unmoving in a dark spot during the bright daylight hours. It does so because prolonged exposure to the sun causes its body to become slightly burned. During the daytime, it stays in caves or under the eaves of old houses, sleeping while hanging upside down. While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. They use ultrasonic waves to detect obstacles. It forms colonies in perpetually dark places. Occasionally, Zubat can be seen at night flying in search of food.

Rock Pokémon

Habitat: Mountains Types:
Geodude climbs mountain paths using only the power of its arms. The longer a Geodude lives, the more its edges are chipped and worn away, making it more rounded in appearance. However, this Pokémon's heart will remain hard, craggy, and rough always. Proud of their sturdy bodies, they bash against each other in a contest to prove whose is harder. When it enters deep sleep, it buries itself halfway into the ground. It will not awaken even if hikers step on it unwittingly. In the morning, this species rolls downhill in search of food. Its round form makes it easy to pick up. Some people have used them to hurl at each other in a snowball fight.

Poison Pin Pokémon

Stage1: Evolves from Nidoran
An aggressive Pokémon that is quick to attack; Nidorino's horn secretes a powerful venom. If they are stabbed into an enemy, the impact makes the poison leak out. It raises its big ears to check its surroundings. If it senses a hostile presence, all the barbs on its back bristle up at once, and it challenges the foe with all its might.

Mushroom Pokémon

Habitat: Forests Types:
Paras are doused with mushroom spores when they are born. As their body grows, mushrooms sprout from their back. Paras has parasitic mushrooms growing on its back called tochukaso. They grow large by drawing nutrients from the bug Pokémon host. They are highly valued as a medicine for extending life. Paras burrows under the ground to gnaw on tree roots. The mushrooms on its back absorb most of the nutrition gained, though.

Let me formally introduce myselfe to... myselfe. It is a matter of courtesy, I always thinke, for one to carry through the formalities no matter who he is speakinge to, be it someone new or merely talkinge to himself for the tenthe time a nighte.

I am Francis von Schnurrbart, ze heir to Castle Nasehaar, an ancient and towering, ah, towere in lands foriegne. I came to Kanto to seake my fortune and the excitemente I could never find in those colde stone halls. By chance, I founde myself in Team Rocket, a rather shady organization whiche fits me plenty fine.

I am a man of noble bloode; my family has ruled over ze Castle Nasehaar since its conceptione. However, in myselfe I found a longing for adventure, and, of course, a deale of money. old money tends to go away after the generations, and so here I am... a medium rank member of Team Rocket, a commanding Field Agente...

Alas, I have been hit by numerous setbacks in my path to higher power in Team Rocket... Like that time my mustache caught fire when we were robbinge that bank, or that time Flaaffy attacked Venonate in the middle of that battle with that police officere, or that time whene the glare off my monocle blinded that helicopter and caused it crashe; accidental set backs, that did well to bring down the glory of my successes.

But nowe, nowe everythinge is being threatened. By a little girl. I, Francis von Schnurrbart, cannot allowe such a great failure to sully me. I will followe this girl, and find the secret behinde her victory, and waylay her when I can...

You see, I have a plan, and it is one most brilliante; not only will I possibly stop this girl so I can retrieve the fossil, I may be able to make some additional funds in ze process. Luckily for moi, ahead of my target is the Cerulean City, a decently inhabited town... and, of course, not void of Team Rocket's influence. If I recall, one of my fellow Rocket members had the missione of retrieving some sort of Technical Machine from a residence, if I remember...

Alas, he will be of no use... but it is not necessary. The very nature of Cerulean City's geography plays into my masterful hands! You see, to the Northe of the City lies the Nugget Bridge, a rather pointlessly named bridge; however, it's name and the fact that it's the sole path to the peninsula in the North will be useful; for you see, by offering a "prize" to those that challenge the bridge, we may drawe individuals to trye their strengthe against one of my men. At the ende those that fight will simply be beaten and tossed aside, taking their valuables and Pokemon in a brilliante single move.

Not only is it a foolproof idea for makinge this operatione some quicke money, it will allow us to possibly challenge and observe this one who proved to be a frustration to us... was her abilities just a fluke, or is she some sort of prodigy? I shall finde out...
