MS Saga: A New Dawn

by Tobias Grant

Part 20

The Lost City is right next to Diggins Rock. you can't miss it.

Well, bye, I guess.

Cool, I could always use more EXP.

Let's go down this pathway first.

Most of the enemies here are Death versions of various suits. They will still regen 100 HP every turn, so make sure you concentrate your attacks.

At the end of the passage is a dead end with some treasure.

Occasionally, an enemy encounter will drop some Death Army data. So if I wanted to, I could grind around here until I got the 50 Data necessary to make one. By the time I left the dungeon, I had a little over 25 pieces of Data, and I'm sure I'll get the rest of the fifty needed later just from continuing the game.

Eventually we come across this. To the south is a locked door, and the western path is a dead end with some treasure.

The Miniboss this time is a Death Army version of the FA Gundam.

Other than his tough armor, he's nothing interesting.

A neat gun was in the treasure chest. the Sniper Rifle II has a chance at stunning an enemy.

A random encounter got me a second Rod Type Beam Gun, which goes straight to Katz.

Bazuli is so awesome

This room is annoying, because the Hyaku Shiki data is technically in here, but it's blocked off by an impassable barrier. Let's just go through this door first, though.

nevermind...

Damn all these locked doors!

Oh fuck, it's a Death Army version of the Super Gundam!

Other than being a somewhat interesting enemy, it falls to the usual strategy.

Finally!

Not yet, there's still some nice stuff in this place.

First, we activate this switch to unlock one of the locked doors from before.

And then go through the door that was behind the chest that contained the Hyaku Shiki Data.

It's a rather long walk.

But eventually you'll enter into this underground parking lot.

Go down this road, and eventually you'll come across this.

This fight can be somewhat troublesome, since the Zaku Shotel's melee weapon can cause Overheat, and the Hizack Kai's can use Counter Snipe to interrupt your melee attacks.

The prize for beating them is well worth the effort.

The Heat Shotel is a fantastic melee weapon, and it has a chance to inflict Overheat on whatever you hit with it. The only real downside to it is it's odd shape.

Further down the road is another locked door.

speaking of locked doors...

The locked door that was at the end of this hall becomes unlocked when you use the console.

The only thing of interest inside though was this weapon.

It's a really nice gun, though.

Anyway, back to Diggins Rock!

Okay then.

SIEG ZEON!
SIEG ZEON!
SIEG ZEON!

Oh wait, sorry, wrong group.

Because you trusted a man who wore a mask.
