MS Saga: A New Dawn

Part 29

All that's left now is to go down an extremely long path.

There's quite a few fights that we have to blast through on our way through towards the boss.

Oh cool, a Dreissen.

Bye.

Most of the trip is rather uninteresting, save this fight where Rezner got Short Circuited, and a Barrier Marasai Counter Zoned Katz.

Just to give you an idea of how long this passage is.

Ah damn, I forgot about this guy.

Sure, why not.

The Altron Gundam isn't all that tough.

It's Melee attacks can do quite a bit of damage, though. This attack did around 500 damage to Fritz.

On the second turn, he'll use Limiter Off, which greatly increases his attack and speed.

No.

I'm somewhat surprised he's still standing. I wonder what he's going to do next?

Oh, he... actually bothered to use his Head Vulcans...

...

...

...

Let's just move on, shall we?

Later, dude.

Alright, we've finally reached the end!

BEFORE YOU GO THROUGH THESE DOORS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU AT LEAST GET THE HEAVYARMS! After beating the boss, Aeon will leave the party and you won't be able to get her back until the very end of the game!

THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE FORESHADOWING AT ALL!

BRING IT ON!

Best to get your buffs up for this, because Vladi can be a tough fight.

Hal is a pretty bad shot with the Dobergun, because he missed twice with it during this fight.

When you see that he's about to use a Boost, DEFEND!

Hitting Char with a System Hack is a major priority.

Casval can bust out a Shot Burst in both Beam and Bullet flavors.

Eventually, all of my heavy hitters get hit with Confuse All, which forces me to put them onto the back row until Daze wears off.

I also, unfortunately, discover that Counter Snipe does not effect Sonic Boost attacks. Whoops!

I agree.

Guess he couldn't handle a Full Frontal assault.

...Huh.

Suddenly!

I wish I could warp like that.

what.

what.

what.

what.

what.

Bye, Aeon! See you on the Moon!

Also the self destruct sequence has started somehow.

poor Hal.

Skipping ahead a bit, it seems the Self-Destruct sequence only affected that one room. Huh.

Robot Roll Call

AMX-009 Dreissen

first appearance: Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ

A sort of successor to the Dom, the Dreissen had three-barrel beam guns built into each of it's arms, and could wield a beam lance or a beam tomahawk, as well as three 'tri-bladed' boomerangs.
