MS Saga: A New Dawn

Part 43

After beating Gabriel, This begins to play. It's a great song.

This door will lead back to the main elevator.

Next, we head for the fifth floor. The door here would have been locked if we hadn't pressed the switch in the previous update.

Here, we need to press another switch.

The switch was guarded by two Zeongs, but I destroyed both of them in two turns.

Press the switch, and then head back up to floor six.

Now we go through these doors.

That chest contained three Restoration Drinks, IIRC.

Another elevator. This one leading down to the basement.

Final Guards!

Their melee attacks can cause Overheat!

Moving on.

Time to flip yet another switch.

There are also a bunch of items in here.

The other chests included 3 Restorative drinks, a restorative drink SP, a repair unit SP, 2 High Power kits, 3 SOS flares, and 2 ECAP (S).

Back to the main elevator, this time we finally head for the seventh floor.

Those two chests contained a Restorative Drink DX and a Repair Kit SP.

Now, you will want to go into these doors.

They lead to yet another elevator that leads to the basement.

The elevator leads to this massive room filled with a few chests which contained a Regeneration Kit SP, an EN Charger, 2 ECAP (S), and...

This.

Unlike the other Funnel parts which did little more than boost the damage of Funnel techniques, these will actually increase your stats and grant a few immunities. It might actually be worth considering putting these on Aeon or even Katz if you don't have the Burning Gundam yet.

Now, this fight is up against two Psyco Gundams. I went in thinking it would be as easy as the Zeongs were, so I spread out the damage instead of focusing on one enemy.

That was a very stupid thing to do. Which just goes to show, even when you're as overpowered as I am, overconfidence and stupidity can still get you killed.

Thanks to Vargas and Aeon, though, I still managed to win.

After the battle, Vargas learned a new Boost. Perfect Snipe is an improved version of Triangle Snipe, which lowered an enemy's attack and speed.

And we finally reach the treasure room that I've been looking for.

Inside is a Restorative Drink SP, a Hacking Tool, a Repair unit SP, 2 EN Max, a Beam Cannon Shield (meh), an EN Charger, and...

the final Card Key.

With this in hand, I get the fuck out.

And go back to Earth.

Now that I'm here, let's get the Wing Gundam upgraded.

The Wings were nice for speed and all, but Aeon desperately needs more EN. The Re-Gelg shoulders give it a nice armor boost, and help give it some more speed now that it no longer has the wings.

Tremmie gets new shoulders.

And Vargas just gets a new left shoulder.

Now that we have the final Card Kay, we can loot the last locked room on the Moon Ark.

Inside is 10000 credits, a restorative drink SP, a Mobility Upgrade Kit, an EN Charger, a Repair Kit SP, and...

2 new weapons and a Drill Claw.

The Beam Knife I gave to Fritz, because why not?

I couldn't think of anyone to give the Active Cannon to, though, since everyone either has something better, or no room for it.

Now that we have the final Card Key, the last optional areas in the game (except for post-game stuff) is now open to us, the last ones are Mt. Trial's last... er, Trial, a G-System in Greenland, and another Moon Base on, well, the Moon. I'm going to do the Moon Base first before coming back down to Earth to do Mt Trial, and then finish up the optional stuff in Greenland.
