Part 107: Tortillas, Flautas, and released Angels

Update 53

As mentioned before, this video segment was supposed to have some songs spliced in.
I could probably try it with Audacity soon, but meanwhile, just the video will suffice.

ALSO, for some reason my capture is getting worse. That is worrysome.

In any case, imagine the appropriate Phoenix Wright songs in the appropriate moments. (Veoh)
I think that the best music is in the first game. Which is somewhat unfortunate. (Viddler)

This dude is the one needed to unlock the first batch of optional bosses.

Immediately after selecting that, it is dialogue time!

As far as threats go, I think slow dismemberment would be scarier than going directly to the vitals.

Advancement has been made, but just like in the lawyerin' game, that is just the beggining, MORE CORSS EXAMINATION.

A new option has been revealed, it is our duty to explore tha new option.




Goddamnit that is useless. But hilarious.





And this is why I love that option.
Flauta means flute. Which is not only the musical instrument.
It is also delicious.


Tightly wound tortillas filled with some sort of meat stuff (my favorite is chicken) and then fried. Add some cream, lettuce and salt to sprinkle on it and it is glorious.
Needless to say, it is also artery-clogging as hell, but goddamn it is great.



I was very surprised in my first run through the game to see a reference to this.
Even more surprised than with the Wikipedia mantra.

Also: Flautas must be made with corn tortillas (preferably handmade, but then again, anything done with handmade/fresh tortilla dough is inherently better. Yum, gorditas/quesadillas).
Wheat tortillas are no good, they don't get the right consistency, and (in my opinion) they taste gross when fried.

Well that was not exactly enlightening, let us threaten now.

Right about here, the most awesome of the Phoenix Wright songs would kick in again

This would be the correct answer. But no. Not this time.



Goddamn now I WANT to eat Flautas.




PROBLEM! Unless the tortilla he mentions is "tortilla española", then he would already be eating tortillas when eating flautas.
Tortillas by themselves are not exactly awesome, but they are a very versatile food.
Tortilla soup (Sopa Azteca) is strangely tasty.

And now I kind of want a tortilla española. Damnation.

 And as will be revealed, more than that. In a way. Also, why Gale was never in the flashbacks.

Well, clearly then, the next step is to go back inside.

But first, all these datas go to Serph.

And he gets to learn a new mantra.

Levelups and such. Meh.



The layout is the same, but after Heat is dead, the portals are all closed, so the navigation is now rather straightforward.
The damage field corridors are still active, though.




It is in this zone, where Abbadon was fought, where the next foe will be faced.
