TimeSplitters 2 is video game that was released on the Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube in late 2002. It is a first person shooter that puts you, Sgt. Cortez, who looks exactly like Vin Diesel, into the bodies of people in different periods in time to right wrongs in history and recover the Time Crystals from an evil alien race called the Timesplitters in order to stop them from… splitting… time? Okay, so I don't completely get it. The storyline of the Timesplitters series is confusing, at best, but we'll show off all the story and cutscenes and let you try to figure it out for yourself. Each time period you enter has its own specific storyline anyway, and those are generally pretty interesting in their own right.
Basically: Vin Diesel + Stargate + Quantum Leap + N64 Golden eye = Timesplitters 2
TimeSplitters 2 is somewhat unlike most other first person shooters in that you are hardly ever required to use stealth, or tactics, or even to stand still. It is quite a frantic game and is really a lot of fun. My usual partner in crime MoominBiscuit and I will be playing it. We haven't played it in years and we are not very good at it, but by gum we're going to try anyway.
