Part 105

I cross the …... errrr...... Volga?



Dammit, even Russian rivers are epic on scale.




I let the Big Cat's in amongst the Pigeons. Stretching a metaphor to breaking point.



South of Gorky I surround a number of units, and close in on Arzamas. As you can see, they are well defended, but the city should fall next week.








Some more enemy units are eliminated.



I then attempt to surround Saransk, but miss by the now infamous one hex.



Syzran falls, but I'm not sure I can hold it.



More attacks send the Russians running once more.







Counter-attacks on weaker units forces them back, and a force reoccupies Syzran.








Russian losses run high, but I'm a little dissapointed by the low air losses.




The Russian number dip a bit, but nothing major.



Lots of ammunition is shipped forwards.



This is reflected by the high levels in the front line units. Only the Fuel pool is yet to recover.



Still seven points to go.
