Part 27





The only movement up here is to finish up a solid line opposing the enemy.







There is little movement here as well, but I do make a couple of attacks, sending two Russian units fleeing.



These limited counter attacks may be spitting into the wind, but it could be worse.




I continue to worry about the Voroneszh dint, as I am afraid it will become a bulge at any time.



In the south, I continue to try and put the Romanians into a position where they will not run away and create a gaping hole on my flank.







Once more, the Romanians crumble under the Red Army assault.



We smack the Leningrad Russians down again.



The Russians push once more near Voroneszh, further widening their dent in our lines.



its only two hexes, but its an offensive.



In all, we see 52 attacks along our line.



A lot of these are on the 9th Army to the north of Moscow, and we lose some ground here.



I'm going to need to fall back from Rostov, or risk having several units cut off.





We see another week of horrendous casualties.



The Russian forces continue to increase in number.



We get a few more supplies to the front, and a few more men to replace the frostbite cases.



Hitler deigns to not sack any of my commanders this week.



Supplies at the front are starting to get a little tight, but nothing critical at this stage.
