As normal, there is little of interest going on in the north, we're losing some ground, but not much.







Around Kalinin, We push the Russians back in one hex and abandon another.



ON the southern side, there is a dangerous breach – I commit some of 2nd Panzer army. We send them running back, but take about even casualties.







Around Voronezh, I'm forced to abandon thirty kilometres of land to keep my lines intact.



The 1st Mountain Division pushes back three move divisions.







The Romanians collapse once more.



We see many attacks around Moscow.




And the Voronezh assault continues.



On of the Hungarian Divisions shatters, and I am suddenly left with a gaping hole in my lines.



The only good thing to come from this is that my defensive CV's have jumped again.







Casualties remain level, both sides are seeing something of a meat grinder on the front lines – and the Russians are losing hundred of tanks a week.



We manage to keep the Red Army below five million for at least one more week. We also have roughly the same number of active tanks on the front.



Men continue to recover from frostbite and are sent forwards, but we need this weather to break!



At least supplies are maintaining their levels.
