Part 51

I continue to move 16th Army South.







9th Army can make a few attacks, and makes some advances.



All of 2nd Army and most of 4th army do nothing this week.





Two more of the units in the northern pocket are eliminated, but the remaining ones are really not giving any ground.



The southern pockets are just as hard to break, but we do get one enemy unit to surrender,



And I so do want them to.



4th Panzer army finds the area in front of them clear, and make a break out.



I then use my transport aircraft to resupply as many forward Panzer units in the area as possible.



The manoeuvres around Krasnodar continue.





The only thing of interest to happen is around Rostov.



The trapped units have broken out of the city, but find nothing but a wall of my troops. They also abandon their fortifications. There is also one unit I trapped that are now connected to their supply line, but have not moved.

Its all very odd. But at least the mud has gone!





We have taken out another 50,000 Russians, even with our stalled attacks.



There is little change in the balance of forces this week.



This is despite heroic efforts to refit and replace our losses!



We continue to build up fuel stores and are now ready for the proper start of Fall Blau.



The mud is clear, and the Panzers are ready to be let loose!
