War in the East

by Grey Hunter

Part 71

In the north, I continue to shift 18th Army south.

The 9th Army does not move or attack.

Neither do 2nd or 4th Armies.

6th Army begins by capturing 48,000 more Russians.

They have a small AO, so I concentrate them, ready for a push on Tamboc.

the Two trapped corps that drove deep into my territory are not going to surrender quickly.

Low on supplies, I at least have troops on the Volga.

I get no closer to Baku.

The Corps off the Black Sea also refuses to Surrender. My men just can't attack well in this mire!

Most of my supply problems come from this one orange hex.

That damaged bit of rail is cutting off most of my front lines from their supplies, and in this mud, I cannot move anyone to fix it!

Stuck in the Mud.
Yeah, the Mud now deserves a capital letter.

Even in the mud, I can still take out nearly 50,000 Russians.

This keeps the Russian numbers constant, while ours are still 400,000 men below full strength.

I need more replacements!

Our fuel stores drop as well.

Ah well, not much change here.
