The Drillson barely sparked as it tore itself in half. Its prow continued for another dozen meters even as the twisted remains of its aft-end drove themselves into the ground kicking up a wall of sod that smothered the fires before they could really begin. The front joined it moments later as its punctured drive skirts failed to keep the boat-like tank aloft.

Tsubaki’s anger exploded into white-hot rage. If only her Panther had been faster she might’ve been able to stop this insanity. Or at least have given the Clan tank another target to distract it. Well, she would personally grind that Clan machine into the dirt. If carrying it hadn’t been treason worthy of death, and if she’d had a moment to breath, she would have tied a hachimaki emblazoned with the emblem of the kokuryu-kai over her forehead to focus her resolve.
