Part 4: Episode 6 coverage

Welcome back to another sequence of missed connections.

You, rusted metal.

Me, the purple wood.

You, kinda sorta balanced, at least showing enough restraint from deploying both walking nuclear platforms.

Me, team

And the rest, I guess.

I am so irritated that Shanon, who is 98% cloth by volume refuses to throw some mysterious shreds of lace or something over her face, or even stick it on her spiky hat.

Just a reminder that Legato is useless. Hato and Hiiro will do what he can do on a bad roll without consuming a scroll.

These 2 soldiers were completely fine with standing still, right in front of their omnicidal boss.

Now for a slightly less destructive party, just because I wanted to see the Figaro brothers scene. At the moment nothing could bring me to see Gendo. I'll come back before the opera if the event flag is still available.

After fighting that gigantic clocktease from the start of the game, Shanon got poisoned. Since its a very niche situation it probably never got tested, but the pixelation with each step is broken when climbing these types of stairs.

The Narshe Elder's house, just like the old days.

It's pretty jarring how different Gau Viral's attack pose pre-coin flipping sprite is from Edgar's every other bipedal character.

And another unchanged prize. Really starting to get bothered that Legato's the only one who can use these, and they don't stack

Also, not pictured: the Mirage Vest can't be used by anyone in the party. Hato has had the Force Shield since regaining control after Tritoch literally stripped Chichi naked.

Got this from somewhere, pretty good upgrade all around.

The clock in Rachel's old house, usually from one of the last dungeons in the game.

Now Shanon isn't the only one who can wear white. 20% stronger Goner's? Yes, please.

Drink potions erry day.

Liquidy missed this one. Hunker down, this one was... interesting.

Yeah, just some end-game enemies.

They may have been nerfed a little bit, but still that hurts. And they're fast too, I'm just entering in the first batch of commands when he burns Jean.

This came right behind. Thankfully it came after fire, otherwise Jean would be dead.

Now some attacks later, after an R-Nuke and I find out they've got counter triggers in their scripts.

Go ahead, I'm not using physical attacks.

O...okay? Thanks for sharing. Not like you're using the fight command either.

This is less good. They're fast as is, don't need them getting faster.

I guess the script is assuming you're in Fanatics Tower blinged out with wall rings. So this is nice.

Go ahead, do your worst.

Shit I take it back. So you can understand why Dem was having an aneurysm in the video, great magic evasion, plus I think shell takes a cut of the accuracy of status attacks too. If it can't go on the healer, the next best user is the harbinger of destruction.

Hato once again carries the team. The white dress really shows off his sexy shape. I mean his triangle ya pervs. While Goner (which dealt about 700HP to each of these guys earlier in the fight) has the highest multiplier in the game, it still factors in Magic Defense (Readme says it has over 170, so Goner effectively had a 50 multiplier). GrandTrain doesn't so it pasted this magic loaf for almost 2000HP (84 multiplier). Later I will need to see if GrandTrain and Goner are penalized with split damage.

The prize for this chest is a Mithril Helm.

And to wrap things up, Ninja stars (but not Shurikens) are equippable by Jean. They're long range too. Even if he is mostly dancing or stealing, the extra speed is welcome.

Even including the enemies buffing me, this is one of the weirdest things I've seen from this game in awhile. Yessn deed
