NG+ Update 15: Nice Tail

Music: Industrial Sector

After killing Tantra it’s time to press ahead. It doesn’t matter which route you take afterwards, since neither has anything new to offer.

Geegagis is slightly less of a hassle to fight than Deegon, so I wind up taking his route.

In the next cutscene Deegon’s soul flies off to be absorbed by Tantra. There’s no point in doubling back since neither route has any D-Ratio doors, so the next fight with Tantra will be a fair bit easier than the first playthrough.

Eventually we reach another room full of dead Rangers.

Tantra reappears and absorbs what’s left of Deegon, triggering his second boss fight.

Even after powering up Tantra still isn’t too hard to beat with a New Game+ team. Mirage Bombs in particular deal massive damage and the fact that he starts so far away from you means you have time to stack a bunch of them up.

After killing Tantra for good and heading on through the shutter we are gifted with the Industrial Sector’s seventh and final SOL Scene.

Music: Omen

Bosch is walking through BioCorp. He’s clearly not well - his hands are trembling, and he’s blinking far more rapidly than normal.

The camera pulls back to reveal another Ranger lounging nearby.

Bosch starts to walk away, but the Ranger keeps talking.

Bosch’s trembling gets worse, and his face develops an ominous twitch.

: Me, Bosch?

The Ranger lays a condescending hand on Bosch’s shoulder…

…and promptly loses it.

Protip - don’t provoke the trained swordsman who’s clearly suffering from a severe case of PTSD, no matter how much of a smug arrogant prick he may have been in the past.

The SOL Scene segues into the brief cutscene where scientist man tells Bosch about linking with D-Constructs. The creepy monster claw Rebuilt Bosch uses can be seen floating in the foreground, so he clearly convinces scientist man to graft it to him despite the risk.

Music: MidSector Borough

There’s not much to do in MidSector except sell vendor trash and stock up on restoratives.

However, leaving the area triggers another SOL Scene.

: Beyond here is Trinity’s territory.

: Are you still okay?

Suddenly, the camera begins zooming around dramatically.

: Lin? What’s wrong?!

:…No. I’m fine.

: So, that’s the Dragon and its followers…
