Imperial Guard across Calderis have been mobilized, double prayer duty has been ordered of all Ecclesiarchy servants, and the Techpriests ready their servo-flagellants and automatic prayer spindles even as they anoint the machines of war. The Blood Ravens quartermaster and tech-magos, Techmarine Martellus, assures the veracity of this most terrible report. A brief recount of Thule's deeds follows as is customary on such occasions.

Davian Thule proved his worth to the Emperor as an initiate against the fell traitor sorceress Morga, a criminal responsible for the corruption and subsequent purge of an imperial world. Thule slew her in single combat, a worthy portent of his momentous service among the Blood Ravens. He earned fame and a reputation for tenacity and fortitude as the Commander of the Blood Ravens Fourth Company, which ultimately led to him being given the command of the highly publicised Kronus campaign where he and his men faced a variety and multitude of xenos, traitors and misguided servants of the Emperor, with regrettable friendly casualties incurred due to the confusion of war. He ordered a purge of Kronus, and though these events were investigated by the Most Holy Inquisition, he was found to have been correct in his actions. Thule earned particular glory by entering alien catacombs under the Thur'Abis Plateau and personally planting a purification device to collapse the alien tunnels, thus permanently ending their threat. The Second Company adopted the motto "Victory Over Death" in remembrance of this victory. His loss is a grave blow to the Imperium and to Sub-Sector Aurelia in face of this new threat.

In addition, in light of these events, this humble servant has issued a recall order on all inquest requests for Davian Thule concerning inventory disrepancies and misplaced requisition orders dating as far back as the Kronus campaign. Martellus seemed most pleased at this.

Current Martyr Total for the Aurelia Campaign: 56 Blood Ravens, of which 17 are Initiates and 39 are Marines.
