So has the fighting stat really come up at all? Because I have a handle on what everything else is, but fighting still leaves me confused.
It looks like the fighting stat affects how much damage you take from monster attacks. Julia has a fighting skill of 89 and the tooltip for the fighting skill says she takes -52% to her injuries when fighting a monster, while Jacob has 41 fighting and takes +12% to his injuries in fights.
Now that we have all that wood, we can do some repairs to the camp.
That is good enough. Fatigue is not a major threat, but it is nice to get it down quick so we do not waste time sleeping.
Now we can get even more material, and make even more repairs.
Jacob & Yuri Chat
Yuri has good strength and scavenging but terrible stealth, so this will make it safer to send him out to jungle event where Julia doesn't have the right skills to get the best results.
We are doing ok on hunger, so Bob is fishing alone today so that Jacob can have the day off to clear his head.
Winters & Illyana Scavenge rope
Five rope is about the best that they could do. Rope is needed for a lot of buildings, so we will need to gather a lot of it for upkeep.
Alice & Julia Explore (Result 97% exploration)
At least with the update we do not need to waste an entire time period exploring that last 3%. We should be able to finish exploring two locations in the afternoon.

Al & Winters Scavenge randomly
It is looking like scavenging randomly is a pretty good deal. We did not get quite as much material as we did when we gathered separately, but we are getting a good bit of each material. I think we will use this as our default scavenging methid for the time being.

Illyana has been getting a lot of skillpoints from helping out around the camp, so it is no surprise that she got another level-up. Now let's see what they found.

Morphine was the moss common painkiller used in WWII, and pilots were frequently given amphetamines to help them stay awake during long flights. Whatever is in the 70+ year-old drugs we found, I am sure it will mess you up good.

Our depression is a little bit high, so we will need to take some time off for R&R soon. We do have a lot of usable items, so I might use them to get our maluses down and save us a bit of downtime.
