Part 53: Day 51 - XIX The Sun(flower)

Day 51 – XIX The Sun(flower)

Our little go-fer has gotten a level-up, so let's see how she is doing.

Her high intelligence means that she gets a lot of skillpoints per level-up.

She has now gone from being a rather incompetent hiker to a rather average explorer.

We also have all of the material Al and Winters gathered, so we can fix our rapidly deteriorating building.

This will improve our gathering quite a bit.

And this will improve our fishing, and hopefully let us get filled up again.

We also need to feed our fire again. I mostly do this off-camera, but I decided to throw it in since today is a rather dull day.

This will keep us going for at least two days. Three if we are lucky.

I may need to switch back to hunting if this continues.

Winters & Al – Scavenge randomly

Once again, our two lovebirds have managed to bring back quite a haul.

Winters levels up, so we will split it between exploration and scavenging.

That looks good to me. Now she can help both Al and Alice better.

Alice & Illyana– Explore (Result – found a scarecrow guarding sunflowers)

This is a surprisingly normal sight, considering what else we have found on this island.

We can take both things from the scarecrow, so Julia will take the necklace first.

That will help Julia deal with her chronic laziness and keep her fatigue under control.

Julia gets a bit banged up, but the fabric can make some bandages to patch her up.

Illyana is getting tired from all that exploring, so we should fix up the resting area first.

Much better. Now she can rest up and get back to exploring.

This will help those fish stretch a lot further.

Alice & Julia – Explore (Result – found a branch)

Useful, but not very exciting. This will keep our fire going for another couple of days.


Maybe we should quarantine Jacob to keep his insanity from infecting anyone else.

Current Status:

Two fish is not much, but it fills up a lot when it it cooked up well.

Still healthy but sad. Fatigue is not much of an issue, and we can cure up those last few injuries with some well applied bandages.

Current Goals:

Still searching for Athena. On the map, we have nine squares of jungle revealed, and we should be able to clear one square per time period, so that means a maximum of ten days till we find Athena.

Due to the fact that the daily life on the island has become fairly routine, I will probably start doing more abridged updates, and cut out most of the routine stuff. I will probably just show the exploration and night-time events and leave off most of the AM/PM tasks.
