Do you like those new mercury missiles? I hope you do, because here's the robot that will be dropping them:



The seeker is the analog of the medium hulk from Descent 1, only this time their missiles are much faster and more powerful. They function as snipers, but they seem to be shy on firing at you from afar and prefer to from a closer distance, even though mercury missiles have a very high velocity.

Now, about this video. There is an odd glitch that I encountered where I would be instantly killed by anything that hits me or whenever I dealt damage to a robot. One instance even caused the mine to begin the self-destruct sequence. I first encountered the glitch during a practice run, and thus I knew to save the game where I do in the video. I figured out while recording the video that I know the glitch is coming because the mine would suddenly become brightly lit. I have no idea what caused it to happen, and all of the reloaded states occur in sequence and it is all uncut. I'm going to show this video to Zico, who heads the Descent Rebirth project and find out what was happening.
