That's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard but I really can't find any fault in that strategy.

Warrior 'Jump' high and attack enemies despite heavy arms and weapons. An expert with spears.

Requires level 3 Thief. Level 2 is one of the prerequisites for Samurai. Level 4 is one of the perquisites for Mime and for Dancer(Women only).

Pros:
+Big PA and HP
+Spears are awesome weapons that hit a panel away
+Jump deals double damage with a spear, so with end-game spears Lancers deal MONDO DAMAGE!
+Maxed Jump abilities have an immense range

Cons:
-The worst magic job ever
-Jump is hard to use properly without an deep knowledge of the game's inner workings
-Not good with secondary abilities due to low MA and love of spears

Lancers are a one-trick pony. In pony terms, that trick is leaping through 5 flaming hoops and landing with a somersault. Lancers impale things with spears. Sometimes they leap high in to the upper stratosphere and come crashing down with double damage if they hold a spear.

Jump is hard to use if you don't know one thing. This thing is that Jump is a slow action, and it's speed is effectively equal to twice the character's speed. Aim at guys with low CT. Shouldn't be hard to find one when max level jumps hit up to eight panels away.

Lancers have the worst MA ever. And since they like weapons so much, they really can't use many secondaries. I guess Time Magic to make them land with 75 CT instead of 50? Item? I don't know, just find something to do when not piercing skulls. If a fucker needs to die, Lancers can kill that fucker. If you need to tank it up, Lancers can poke fuckers from a panel away and do most of the tough stuff Knights do. Lancers are totally rad.
