Part 84: The Ninth Floor: HORROR

level 85 red dragons are here

Tiny deployment spot? Check.

Oh great we ran into some sort of eastern mysticism temple didn't we.

Your party stands on one elevated platform, and there's a hop over a smaller one to get to the rest of the stage.

Well, since we're stuck on this platform, and surrounded by requisite Japanese classes, might as well shore up our defenses.

Speaking of which, the team is getting balls rubbed in their faces by these ninjas.

Wait, shit, don't tell me...

Yup, Abandon with a Feather Mantle. This guy will be VERY hard to hit.

OK SITUATION GET BETTER ALREADY.

There, that did it.

Yeah, these guys are getting mopped up.

He's asleep, now it's time to...

There!

Now this guy can be unalive.

Okay, enough of this "getting hit" thing.

I hate to say this, but at level 34 Smash Lampjaw just can't keep up with other things, especially since monsters depend on levels for all their value.

Bye old friend.

I needed room for this guy.

A level 65 Great Morbol.

So let's bring our own crossdresser friend Diana, that Morbol, Rafa, and only two members of our regular crew!

What could possibly go wrong?

Okay maybe this isn't so

...Bad?

Oh God

NORMA! DO MAGIC THINGS!

Thank goodness the enemy is so into 100% hits that it does stupid things.

And Blade Grasp is magical.

Mass murder is usually a solution to problems like this.

Especially when having such a wonderful stick as the Faith Rod makes it stick.

Red Dragon's dead, we can relax since most of the dangerous things are now pushing up daisies.

The Great Morbol's monster skill does something utterly unique.

...If it hits.

It takes a while for it to do so, though.

It doesn't help that people start killing Diana.

So I kill them first so they stop killing her!

There now.

For fuck's sake who's left out there?

Situation stabilized, back to virusing.

Maybe I should check what's in these item tiles before jumping on them.

Oh yeah it finally hit!

It... turned her into a Morbol. It's permanent.

She's a Morbol's Morbol.

Could she still dress as the opposite gender though? That's tonight's debate.

We're done here.

So fuck you buddy, I'm out of here.

Yeah, she's stuck as a Morbol forever. No use to me now.

It's probably because you can't put on dude's clothing anymore that you're sad.

The Venetian Shield is the second best shield by evasion, and it halves elemental damage so it's super-tough.

The Grand Helmet is the only helmet to do something besides increase HP.

And the Maximilian gives just so much HP that it's rightly obscene.
