For the curious, Sue is all but confirmed to be Rath's child. Dayan is confirmed as Rath's father in FE7, and nothing is ever said about Dayan having other children. On top of that, Rath's paired ending with Lyn results in them having a daughter, kinda-sorta confirming what happens to Lyn, but not really. As previously mentioned, Lyn (and Caelin itself) didn't actually exist until FE7, so you're free to draw whatever conclusions you want, but Sue being Lyn and Rath's daughter is probably what IntSys was going for in FE7.
