The next update is up.

Angsty Ferrets was away in York, and I would have felt uncomfortable continuing the adventure game without him. Out of respect for him I decided to not film any of the scenes that he was supposed to be in in the original shooting script.

This led me to explore, or have a "quick look" at, the 1991 NES Last Crusade game.

Next week, or maybe a little bit after schedules depending, Ferrets and myself should be back with an update of the actual game.

Enjoy!

Time for more !

The spelling thing you were thinking of from the movie is that in Latin Jehovah begins with an I. While the letter J existed in Latin, it was pretty much only used at the end of numbers with more than one I (so LVII would be written LVIJ) and to give an I a little flourish. It didn't come into its own as a separate letter representing a separate sound until the 1500's in Germany, and first officially appeared as a distinct letter in English in 1634. Until then, I and J were interchangeable, though J was more often used when the sounds /i/ and /j/ (pronounced like the Y in yet) were at the beginning of the word and I was more often used in the middle. We picked up our current pronunciation of J from the French (we spelled that sounds DG as in hedge before J as a separate letter came along).
