Part 391: Ancestral Blessing

I'm torn between a plowing test for the crude joke potential and a poetry test, because our clan fucking loves poetry. A coin flip decides that I go for poetry.

He wins, so it's time to stuff our faces!

We've really accumulated a lot of allies. Not that this is a bad thing.

IF: Fire Season AND sufficient weaponthanes THEN: Crush Vostang clan.

If Penterest keeps doing this sort of thing, he might be able to build a badass reputation for himself before the game ends.

Highly satisfying! We also seemed to gain a point of magic from either Penterest's fighting skills or the upcoming event, as you'll see.

Spirits of our most noble ancestors appear in our clan hall, accompanied by ancestral spirits from other clans within our tribe. "You may not realize it, but you are poised to do great honor to this clan and to the clans of this tribe. We sense a difference in the air, a change in the way the grasses wave, new omens in the gathering clouds." They say that we must remember that not all enemies are forever. "Don't be afraid of new things. If you succeed in fulfilling your destiny, you will bring renown upon us all. We offer you a blessing to aid you on this path."

-Ask for a blessing on our cattle.
-Ask for a blessing on our trade goods.
-Ask for magical blessings.
-Ask for blessings on our king.
-Thank them and let them decide which blessing they will grace us with.

(Is injured at the worst possible time, but here's a recap of his stats if that helps your decision)
The king is wise enough; ask for a practical blessing.
Oh please, wisdom, wisdom, wisdom - for our illustrious king. He will need it.
We have healthy, ample herds, although more cows never hurt in a tribe.
We can afford to thank them with a sacrifice, if we want to.
Does this destiny include ale? Or feasting? Or drinking?
It is good to have wise leaders.
