Part 64: Episode 13: Life Goes On
We're getting close now! I hope you guys like lavender, you're about to be drowned in it.
Episode 13: Life Goes On
I didn't cap the door card, but Riku finds Namine' behind the second plot door of the level.
How do you know she's not lying?! Never trust blondes Riku, you'll only get burned.
Namine' doesn't know what the fuck.
They're cloning Sora's! Oh the humanity!
This is probably one of the most normal reactions we'll ever get out of this series.
And we better like the story sweetcakes.
*obligatory fade out to show passing of time*
"Sora chose to forget about this castle and get back his old memories."
Or have they? (No they haven't. But how would he KNOW?)
And in Ansem is... Never mind, don't wanna go there.
"But eventually he'll awaken, and he'll conquer you when he does.
Before that happens, let me lock your heart tight.
I can make it so Ansem never escapes."
Sounds great, what's the catch?
"You'll stop remembering the darkness.
You can go back to the way you used to be.
It's your choice, Riku. So... choose."
Wait, lemme get this straight: If Riku forgets about Ansem, and all the crap from KH1, he'll be safe from the darkness? Losing the memory of darkness wouldn't remove his affinity for it, or the possibility that he could learn to use it again... And not even gonna touch on the whole 'who you used to be' topic.
The longest elipses of the game, at a good 10 seconds of pondering. This is a pretty important decision here.
Go with your gut and stop trying to think!
"It doesn't matter what we were doing--he'd still go off and leave me with all the work.
Take the raft we were gonna use to leave the islands. That was all me."
What, the raft I lovingly name the 'Deathtrap' every playthrough? Good now I know who to blame.
"I told him to take care of Kairi, and here he is taking a nap!
But I can't chew him out if I've been sleeping, too.
Keep your lock. I'd rather just finish Ansem off once and for all."
So only Sora, Donald, and Goofy are oblivious to the events of this title. This was really kind of clever.
That doesn't even make sense Riku but whatever makes you feel better.
"I want you to face the darkness, because you're the one who can."
Are they even speaking english at this point?
This is what he was "never mind"ing about earlier.
This is not important at all and will never be important later, I promise. Really.
Time to get serious. Riku bids Namine' and her new boy-toy in a jar behind, and heads up.
How did you get ahead of me? Physics.... they do not apply.
How'd HE know that?
Speak of the devil.
This is also completely unimportant. Trust me.
Translation: DiZ you're an asshole and I hate you.
I'll give you one guess.
DiZ is a regular buddhist monk here. He tosses us a final World Card.
"Finish your business with Ansem."
DiZ abandons us somewhere in the scene transition.
Yeah me too. Fighting bosses without Mickey support cards sucks.
What he said!
"If that happens, I want you to dest--"
"No matter what happens, I'm going to be there to help you."
I love Mickey.
I dunno, a billion years is a long time.
