Part 51: Kiss Goodbye - Part 7

Phone rings.

Agh!

It's only the phone, Lucy.

Why do people always butt in at the most crucial moments, eh?

Shall I get it?

No, no. I'm going...

Music stops.

What is it, Lucy? What's happened?

They've found him! They've found the missing witness!

If you try to select “The missing witness” panel before now, you just get a short conversation between Alfendi and Lucy reminding you that the delivery person is still missing.

Yes, he's a delivery boy. He was at the scene with an order, moments before the four victims were killed.

Aye, then he disappeared. More than a bit sus, if you ask me.

You think so?

From the look of it, I'd say it's extremely unlikely that he's the culprit.

Lucy would never do such a thing herself.

That's not what I meant.

I've been all over the paperwork on this boy, and I can't find anything.

This case makes me think of the Hiimdaisy Professor Layton comic where he asks Luke to read some papers because he can't read himself.

No reason why he would have killed these mobsters in a copycat of the Jigsaw Puzzle Murders.

It's one step forward and two steps back wi' this case, isn't it?

I think we can safely agree:

Uttar Mistry is not the killer.

I'm one hundred per cent certain of the validity of that deduction.

Bully for you!

Bully for you is basically another way of saying "Good for you".

He may, however, have some useful information for us. Let's see what we can find out...

Music stops.

I have no idea why Alfendi and Lucy decided to question a minor that they (or at least Alfendi) believes to be innocent in what is quite clearly an interrogation room. What was wrong with doing the questioning in the office?
