Steve decides to check out the school next, to see if a teacher or the principal might have some insight into the lodge or the mailclerk.

The principal doesn't offer much help. Just that there are no suspects in the burning down of the newspaper office, Steve should join the lodge, and that Gein memorial school is named after a great man who's first name he can't remember at the moment.

Maybe the teacher will have more to offer.

About normal at a school I'd say

Once again, nothing of interest, except on the issue of corporal punishment.
