UPDATE 48: Ryo's First Day of Work

December 27th, 1986

Before heading to bed, Ryo gives Nozomi a call.

Man. Talk about an awkward conversation.

December 28th, 1986
Ryo gets to sleep and wakes up the next morning, ready to start work. Let's see what this "before work" activity is.

Cheesy rock music in the background? Forklifts lining up in what resembles a starting grid?

Good morning, Mark!

A race. With forklifts.

These guys seem pretty enthusiastic about the possibility of the foreman having their ass.

Let's do it!

Wow, there's lap times and everything.

And thus begins the most extreme race ever. I'd have uploaded the video of the race but Google Uploader is being stupid and won't accept my login information for some reason.

Anyways, the end results. Since I haven't played this game in a while, it took me a bit to get used to the handling of the forklifts again.

Mark is there to console Ryo.

Seriously, what is it with these people and mini toys?

I wonder if this is just a horribly mistranslated "Welcome to your first day" or something.

Blah blah blah, you said all this during training.

Forklifting time. Ryo works until lunch break.

Mark is sitting down and enjoying his lunch, when...

It gets kicked into the sea!

Some punks have come to harass Mark about something.

Ooh, ooh, I know! It's Master Chen!

Mr. Blue Camo Pants gives Mark a kick in the gut. How rude.

He rears back for another kick...

But Ryo intervenes. With style.

I'm telling on you!!

Ryo is very intimidated.

Video

Lesson well taught, fellas.

Just what Ryo needed, an easy reason to ask Mark about the Mad Angels.

Okay, ask him if he knows anything else about the Mad Angels.

Um, Ryo, ask. HELLO? ... Okay.

For those of you interested, I'll have a video of forklifting action next update.
