Mega Man Battle Network 3: Blue

Part 59: Yeti, You Need to Complete More Battle Network Postgames.

GeneralYeti's First Look at Secret Area

Alright, so here's the thing. I've played this game, I've played all the BN games because they're pretty fantastic. Thing is, I've beaten them all, but I've very rarely ever found the drive to go and 100% the games. Either the game wasn't fun enough (like 1 and 2) or I just lost interest. To my never-ending shame, the only game I've managed to 100% is, unfortunately, Battle Network 4. If only because it's actually really easy to beat the postgame. I've come close with BN6, because most of the postgame was cut out, but I usually give up halfway through the request board. (I really, really hate request boards.)

So what does this mean for the LP? Well, if you couldn't understand my drugged-up rambling in the previous update - seriously, Giver, stop giving me bad ideas when I'm on anesthesia - I've never made it through Secret Area 1. Or the rest of it, for that matter. And that means I've missed out on the very important things: the bosses. I've never ever fought any of the postgame bosses, and that's very sad, because one of the best things in this game is going up against the bosses. The data input is just so much faster and contains so much more information than the regular fights, it's such a joy to fight them, especially for the first time.

So, in addition to Giver showing off how to normally fight them, I'll be producing some 'fun' (note: fun value may vary) videos in which I fight the bosses for the first time. Please note that the videos are usually pretty short, since the boss fights... well, since the boss fights really aren't that hard to fight. At least, this first one isn't.

I'm just using the folder Giver set up, so hooray for that, I guess. It's kinda what I'd use if I had to make my own, though I prefer using AreaGrabs a little bit more than Giver does, evidently.

In which I fight DarkMan twice: Once while drugged up and once while Epee Em joins me.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention: Epee Em joined me for the second fight. He might be back for more. Hopefully. If he stops bitching about being retired doesn't mind helping us out.

Anyway, DarkMan status: Lit up.
