Appendix C - Might and Magic (Warfare)

Warfare

Warfare abilities are all passive and Combat related. Their abilities are a little more situational, but generally always helpful. They also have no reliance on stats, making them still just as useful on Heroes with low stats.


Counterstrike I

Damage of friendly creatures' retaliations is increased by 9.5/10.6/12.6%.


Counterstrike II

Requires Hero level 5, Counterstrike I

For the first 1/2/3 turns of each battle, friendly creatures gain an additional retalition. (No effect on creatures with Unlimited Retaliation)


Counterstrike III
Passive Combat

Requires Might Hero level 15, Counterstrike II

For the first 1/2/3 turns of each battle, the first retaliation of each friendly creature occurs before the enemy stack actually attacks.


Parry
Passive Combat

No requirements

When a friendly stack cannot retaliate to an enemy melee attack, they parry some of the damage, reducing it by 8.5/10/11.5%.


Toughness I

Health of all friendly creatures is increased by 3/4/5%. Stacks multiplicatively with other similar effects.


Toughness II

Requires Hero level 5, Toughness I

Health of all friendly creatures is increased by 4/5/6%. Stacks multiplicatively with other similar effects.


Toughness III

Requires Might Hero level 15, Toughness II

Health of all friendly creatures is increased by 5/6/7%. Stacks multiplicatively with other similar effects.


Archery I

Damage of friendly creatures' ranged attacks is increased by 6.3/7.2/8.3%. Stacks multiplicatively with other similiar effects.


Archery II
Passive Combat

Requires Hero level 5, Archery I

Each time a friendly stack performs a ranged attack, its next ranged attack has its damage increased by 3.25/3.74/4.3%. Effect can stack. Stacks multiplicatively with other similiar effects. Count resets if attacked or attacking in melee.


Archery III

Requires Might Hero level 15, Archery II

Penalty for friendly ranged attacks that are over Half Range (for creatures with Half Range) or behind walls or obstacles is reduced by 25/30/35%.


Giant Slayer

Requires Hero level 5

Friendly creatures deal 10/11/12% more damage to Large Creatures.


Resilience
Passive Combat
Tears
Requires Might Hero level 15

After a friendly stack has taken damage 3 times, it gains +5/6/7 Might Defense and +10/12/13% Health for the rest of the combat.


Rampage

After a friendly stack has attacked 3 times, it gains +5/7/8 Might Power for the rst of the combat.


Cleave

The first time a friendly stack kills an enemy stack, it gains a free turn immediately and +16/23/25 Morale and +5 Initiative for 3 turns. Cleave only activates for the Hero's army once per combat.
