Part 92: Dispatch Mission: Magical Assistant/Reagent Run

Welcome back to the LP! When last we left off, Sam was about to throw junior agents at a couple of magical problems. Let's see how that turned out.

Team Pinky assembles in the grungy basement.

Promising!

We expected nothing less from Wolfah, of course. Sam packs the teams off on their missions.

Having dispatched his dudes, Sam goes down to give the basement a much needed mock-castle makeover. Agent Walker's dinosaur skull goes on the coffee table. Sam then pauses to give a speech at the podium (complete with microphone feedback).

He is then hypnotized into performing evil robo-gnome rituals by this spooky book we found in Cyrus' library. Yay!

The garden is graced by a rose trellis and an ant farm. We always needed an ant farm. There is also a new cookie jar on the coffee table.

For the record: Wendalyn is a self-professed 'wonder witch' who only ever appeared in two games: this one and the expanded PC version of the original MySims. She gave herself the title. There is no coven, unless one witch is a coven, in which case I myself am a coven of LPers.

Our two new suits of armor go in the gym, because that's somehow appropriate.

Up here we have our fancy executive desk and chair, compliments of the swamp nook. Also, one of our two fancy new vases stolen from Cyrus' estate.

Sam shreds on the electric guitar that Agent Walker gave us. Rockers always shred with their teeth.

And then Sam picks up the beats that DJ Gordon is laying down. Woo!

And we have a second new trophy in the trophy case! Yeah, you arrest that suspicious yeti character, Agent Anime-Eyed Walker.

Sam gets tired of moving furniture around--he did not place the gargoyle nor the grand piano, but we've seen them both before--and heads back down to the lobby to chill out and wait for the reports to roll in.

Ha ha, I'm kidding, it's time to try on some clothes! I guess Sam is some kind of single-gloved jRPG sidekick now.

Or a grunge hippie.

Or... uh... nice culottes, Sam.

That's more of Sam's skin than I ever really wanted to see.

Marlon's entire questline is a throwback to the earlier game MySims Kingdom. Sam tells Marlon to test Princess Butter. Maybe she just acts out because she's super-intelligent and bored!

Or maybe Sam is just something of a jerk.

I would watch that play. In fact, I am now upset that I do not get to watch that play.

Fingers crossed!

you're still boring

Madame Zoe is the Real Deal, I guess.

Hooray for us! Let's go see what we've won!

: I need a mission debriefing. What was the result?

: That Marlon guy sure is weird, isn't he? Well, maybe having an assistant will keep him outta my hair for a while. He sends his thanks.

He also sends us an end table and another dispatch mission. He does not, however, give us any collectible Kingdom Pals, which are essentially Beanie Babies. Thanks, Marlon!

: ... is the ambrosia fruit, which only grows on top of Mt. Olympus. Which one should we go for?

Sam runs downstairs to check out his new end table and runs facefirst into a text from Wendalyn. After some thought, he tells her to go after the ambrosia fruit. Maybe she'll bring him back a toga.

Meanwhile, Sam adds the end table to our growing collection of alien-themed furniture and puts the dinosaur skull on it. He also adds a third computer to the basement, so that nobody has to wait to play Minecraft.

Well, Wolfah is an old hand at climbing mountains.

See?

Hooray! To Jenny's desk with us!

: I need a mission debriefing. What was the result?

: Wendalyn is so pleased with the team's reagent run that she said she's willing to help out in future missions.

And so she is! She brings Sam a dashing tuxedo, too.

Quite dashing indeed. Let's check out our new recruit!

: Welcome to the team!

That is a painfully cute immortal witch.

Now that Sam's done trying on clothes and painting walls, it's once again VOTING TIME!

: ... take the magic world by storm!

The Amazing Daryl needs to read more popular literature! But, in the meantime, he could use some Paranormal agents to think up some super cool spooky magic tricks, and some Smart agents to figure out how to make those tricks work. Or, you know, he could just learn real magic from Wendalyn. But anyway.

Please put together a team of three (3) agents from the list: Travis, Leaf, Roger, Rosalyn, Vic, Nova, Beebee, Preston, Wolfah, Renee, Elmira, Pinky, Carl, Gordon, Trevor, Violet, Ms. Nicole, Zoe, Wendalyn.
You can always check their stats in the second post in this thread, just underneath the OP.

Meanwhile, Sam will be forcing some of your leftovers to interact with a man named 'Samurai Bob'. Sure, sounds legit. Input is welcome!

Voting will remain open for approximately twenty-four hours!
