No Retreat! The Russian Front

Part 76: Turn 11 - Axis Combat Phase: Taking a Step Back

The reconstituted 11th Army heads east to protect Riga from the relentless Soviet advance.

Around Smolensk, more forces are shifted into place to free the beleaguered armies taking part in the failed surprise attack towards the City.

The Axis also shift their positions around Kharkov, pulling back in places to be able to better protect their supply lines. The line is weak, but it should hold the Soviets for now.

Further moves are made to bolster it by moving some troops from Dnepropetrovsk.

The 2nd Panzer has been withdrawn from the Kharkov sector and is preparing for strategic redeployment.

I need up to 3 Target markers from the Axis. Once we have them, The Sandman may place Counterblows. This will get us the full list of battles for the turn and then both sides may commit cards to specific battles (attacker first). The Army Group/Sector commanders can then describe how and where they would like to withdraw or advance and whether or not they would accept a counter-attack.

Good luck, everyone. I'm not setting a deadline this time.
