Scene 19: Angel

The Demon Galf was sealed in Antanjyl a long ass time ago, and now Rashidi has arranged to give him the Black Diamond (which was obtained via Mizal the former Head Angel) in exchange for killing some Rebels (i.e., us). Now, why would Galf want a Black Diamond? Why, to break his seal and wreak havoc, of course! As much as we enjoy havoc and satanic destruction, a friend of the Empire is an enemy of Laharl, so we are out to slay some evil demon's shit up.

When we first arrive at Antanjyl, there is only one town visible to us besides the enemy's bases and our own. It sits on an island about halfway between the bases.



It is full of scary imp doll children pedophile clowns.


Galf's minions are mostly undead and evil types like these Vampyres, so this would be a good place to level up your high Ali units. It would also probably be best to fight during the day, as illustrated here:



The center island is where most of the action will take place. We have Lans', Mort's, and Tristan's units scanning north of the mountain range for hidden towns and treasures. Lemon and her Kraken duo wait in front of the demon hell-town, while Leopold's unit waits inside. Jenny, Ashe, and Margo block further passage to our base.


It probably would have been a good idea to have someone blocking the southern forest though, as this sneaky bastard got all the way through to the base. Good thing Laharl watched Buffy religiously while he was in high school.


BEGONE, FOUL UNDEAD HEATHEN!


Mort is given a handy tip. Now he knows to avoid thieves. And knowing is half the battle!


You can't really tell in this picture, but Ryukaon has a Rune Axe, which helps a lot in killing these guys, and also raises his Ali.


Oh no! Lemon has been seduced by the evil being!

Tristan proves he's good for something, being the only character able to hit the Zombie Dragons for more than 1 damage.


Once all the towns and temples are liberated, Mort prepares to take Galf from behind


Yeah, we know. Pretty much every single townsperson had something to say about it.

The aftermath of Galf's demise is pretty repetitive, but there were a few highlights.
