Part 115: Ally Social Link Perks
Please tell us in parenteses or something what on earth these actually mean in game-world mechanics, because they're vague as hell.
Okay, let me lay this out:
Feinne's Fourth Wall Lectures: Social Link Perks
Our party members get special benefits from our Social Links with them.
Rank 1: Once per combat the character can take an attack that would kill the main character as long as that attack did not also target them. In other words, they can't save you from a multi-target attack. I'm reasonably sure but not positive that they will themselves endure the hit with one HP if it would kill them.
Rank 3: Sometimes after another character Knocks and enemy Down they will offer to use a Follow-Up Attack. The effect depends on the character in question, though they're all pretty good.
Rank 5: After an enemy is Downed in combat, this character will cure the Down and Dizzy status on one friend with it.
Rank 7: After an enemy is Downed in combat, this character will cure the Fear, Rage, Confuse, or Silence status on one friend with it.
Rank 9: Once per battle when the character would die they instead are left with one HP.
Rank 10: Something special we'll see when we get there.
