Well we finally see the speedster himself and you can see why with those stats. Compared to the queen, we have lower HP and Defense, but higher Attack and Speed, which is a very good combination to give the king his hard hitting Ground moves. Poison does nothing but give him a couple extra weaknesses but since he learns a huge amount of Special moves, you can twist its alright Special stat into something useful. Overall, this is a powerful Pokemon you can get pretty early and can do a lot of goddamn work. So long as you have the TMs for it.
