Part 28

Ending C, some more

When reading this, please keep in mind that it was, in fact, the first ending I saw when I bought this game myself, waaaay back in 2001, when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

So! Hugo destroyed, removed from the time line in some confusing way. The big question is: What happens to Eike?

Eike and homunculus exchange standard conversation #003, basically forty-five seconds of Homunculus being smug.

Sure they did! Hugo doesn't exist anymore. Who's going to murder me now? vv

Once again, Homunculus warns Eike that there arn't going to be any more free ressurections, so Eike should try not to die anymore.

Literally so. It's at least twice as long as it had to be, and the whole ordeal started at 1 in the afternoon. It's now about five in the morning.

Huh. Guess we're getting a sort of happy ending after all! A shame it happens right after destroying Hugo, but hey, I'm not complaining.

I'd have thought the sky would be a little brighter by now, but I guess it's still early in the year.

And so Eike's experiances have taught him a beautiful lesson! In the end, isn't--

Wait a minute.

That can't be good.

At least someone's having fun.

Who wants to guess what comes next?

Fate... defied?

Well! That was ending C. It's one of the easiest endings to get, and you get it by doing the most obvious thing all the way down the line, so a lot of people who say they, "rented it once, got a suck ending," they're all refering to this scene.

I'll get to work on ending A a bit later. It couldn't be any worse, could it?

Could it?
