With Gale, the amount of playable characters rises to FOUR.
Unfortunately, Digital Devil Saga only allows you to have 3 active characters at any given time. And until you get the ones in the backup team the Shared or Mutual Karma traits, one has to balance the use of all party members.
Since this is a newgame pplus run, I can just put Mutual Karma in those that I won't use often and be dcone with it, and fortunately, it is much easier to acquire on DDS2.

Gale's current skills are useful for a certain fight that will happen soon.

This is a bit better, though, even without the force shields.

But what about delicious, delicious food?

I don't see any problem with it. I mean, he is still pretty much like Gale, isn't he?
And he is a goddamn Asura. The base will be fine.

Heat, even if he has been on EVERY fightg, has yet to advance to another Karma plane. He is less useful than the others because he just has 6 skill slots.
Of course, he has Ragnarok, so there's that. He is still useful.
Quick Escape is very useful. Increases the chance of getting away from a fight. There are times when you really don't want to fight.

When Heat an Gale approach them, they back off. That is not something they should do.

Yes. A single Asura is far more dangerous than a number of grunts. But on the other hand, there are FOUR Asuras in the party. They should not have to be afraid of Bat.

Welcome to the second Bat fight. In this one, it is heavily recommended to have a spell that protects against DEATH.
Why? Because of those bastard Baphomets on either side of Bat. For extra turns, a random Expel skill would be nice. But not needed.

to deal with Bat himself, there is something that is required, since he will guard himself all the time. That is a Tera skill. When he is guarding, he will become weak against one single element: Earth. He is not immune to Almighty, but damn, he does resist it. Ragnarok does 1 hp damage when he is guarding.

After the mockery, he falls down. As he should.

Heat now can get a grand total of 8 skills.

And what does she do? She FUCKING REVERTS TO HUMAN SHAPE.
