Part 91: Entering the Power Plant.

Time to go to the Power Plant!


"Are they planning to die along with the city?"



"The Chief Director took over, and she's ordered them to shutting down the electricity"
And that would somehow put down Roland's plan to speak with God with the EGG, right?
Or at least mess up his plan to blow up the antennae. Or something.



"The soldiers inside are putting up quite a fight.
They destroyed the consoles that control the gates.
Our explosives couldn't even dent those things!"
Those things being clearly the doors, not the consoles. The consoles themselves are quite fragile.
There is a reason for that too.



"But don't worry... I won't let her get anywhere near you.
Where I come from, we'd lay down our lives if it meant saving our comrades."




Well, time to get inside.





"Time to get serious.
Fred, take care of Sera."
Leaving them just behind Adil's front lines does not strike me as such a sensible choice, but hey, what do I know?



Eeeeh.





Well at least they are rather well informed after meeting the Lokapala members.





Interesting lobby. Too bad this is one of the most bleh dungeons. There are a couple more interesting ones later, which is a good thing.




"We'll fight 'em for as long as it takes."





Clearly, there was a battle there not too long ago.
Don't think a couple of members of the Lokapala could provide much in the way of defense against Angel's legion of demonic enhanced things.




"If the Lokapala can't hold the enemy back, they'll slowly withdraw.
While they delay the enemy, we'll head to the control room.
It's crawling with demons in there. Once we go in, there's no turning back."



"Alright, let's get moving."
Notice: This is not the point of no return.



but after that point, random encounters start.

Hey, look just who is there.

These are useful and should be bought whenever possible. Why would one want a higher amount of encounters?
Well, grinding, of course, but then sometimes you need to get a certain rare enemy to appear to get a particular item.
That, or want to hunt omoikanes. It was more useful for the titania/Arahabaki hallway in the first, than in the second, but they are still useful from time to time.
Estoma Spray reduces encounters, and that is also a good thing.


New bullets.




Same old rings.



"That's 3401 points 'til the next rank.
There's a new HP recovery item, some cool new ammo... You know, the usual stuff."




How convenient, a save spot near to the shop.



And more ring fodder. Maybe in the next update there shall be ring upgrades once more.


Well, of course!





Oh no! Saboteurs!



These are easy to deal with.




Unless you mess up and hit them with Electricity, which they reflect.



Fire is effective, though.

Character is useful, that does not bode well for the character.
