Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

by Luisfe

Part 60

Update 57:

First thing is this: Entering Yurakucho Station. Why? Because it is needed to go to the next dungeon.

That's why.

Problem: It's neither straight nor forward. It is a bit convoluted and has some backtracking. And it is boring.

So first: A little detour.

"After years of pokin' around, I finally found the treasure right here! But... The earth here is as hard as a rock turtle with frostbite!, so I can't dig, ya dig?
......
You got demons with ya!? Hoo-doggie! Caould ya spare one a them demons a yers? If ya do I promise ta split the treasure with ya!"

He's got it. Why? Treasure! Durrr.

Summoned one at the Cathedral just for that.

"Later" is really later. Or not. It'll take around seven Kagutsuchi cycles

Been slacking with the demons' stuff lately.

"I just saw a human woman! She was headed for Kasumigaseki. She was creepy like she was posessed by something... She was hot, though!"
Sounds like Yuko. I mean, who else has been posessed?

"It's a maze in there. Plus, there are steep slopes. You'll slide right down to the bottom! If you jump unprepared, you might die of starvation, or worse..."
Lies. IT IS EASY

Treasures.

Vitality.

MAPS.

out.

"But you're best off not going near to the Diet Building. If you get in the way of Commander Hikawa...

*gulp*
Or are you here to 'help' Commander Hikawa?"

"Then Commander Hikawa will really make you... *gulp*"
Gulp?

Yes

"But, there's no need to help. We have 'their' protection. I won't tell you to turn back, but from here on out, I can't guarantee your safety."

"Ha ha ha! Someone just like you passed by here a while ago. The Maiden, calling herself Aradia. Well, we have 'them' in the Diet Building."
Who is "them"? And I knew it was Yuko :P

Heee.

Wheee.

They are doing a lousy and horrible job!

The Diet Building! Let's see what Wikipedia has to say about it.

Wikipedia posted:

The National Diet Building (国会議事堂 Kokkai-gijidō?) is the place where both houses of the Diet of Japan meet. It is located at 1-chome, Nagatachō, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.
Sessions of the House of Representatives take place in the left wing and sessions of the House of Councillors in the right wing.

The Diet Building was completed in 1936 and is constructed entirely out of Japanese building materials.

Oh no! Ominous!

There are three statues.
And four pedestals.
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?

EEEK.

I don't see neither sword nor flames.

BUT! there are both things in here!

And the statue fades... CREEEEPY.

Next time: Exploration!
