Part 6: Merrick Got a Little Jaded

To solve this, two pieces of the puzzle need to be selected at the same time. They will then switch places. You can also choose to rotate the pair of them.

The finished piece is a...robot on a two-headed horse?

I'm...uh...yeah. Moving on.

We have successfully opened the way to a storage closet.

There's another little pot here. Except, this one's already completed.

Video: We found the missing kid...

* Stone: GONE. Ate Windlenot.

Merrick referred to a black book, but thankfully we already found it last update. We haven't found Beth yet, but all signs point to 'Not Good'.

Speaking of fortune telling....

There's a coin in the tray. Let's pop it in. What's the worst that could happen?

That actually seems important.

How about a few more activations, then?

I thought it was a game for trivia buffs?

...Okay, that's enough creepy messages from you.

There's another path out that I didn't take. Let's go find it.

Skipped: About 5 minutes of wandering around crumbling blue hallways.

Plaid: it's not just for sweaters anymore.

Around that corner is the 3rd floor exit for the elevator. However, right now I'm more interested in the triangle pattern on the wall.

There's an exit to an exhibit here!

I'm fond of this music, actually.

Unfortunately, things still look mostly packed up.

Hitting the red button tells us some information about the room we're in. There are actually a fair number of these scattered about.

...I'm not sure what's worse than being burned at the stake, but I'm pretty sure I'd rather not find out!

Huh. Alchemy machine.

I bet it's like a chemistry set! Filled with salts and metals and acids you probably shouldn't give to a 12-year-old. I never got one as a kid, so I get to make up for lost time now (and you get to deal).

This isn't a chem set.

What's contained within is a wire connection puzzle. All octogon pieces must fit on the grid, and all touching wires (including the ones in the 4 squares pre-placed within the box) must be the same color. You can rotate the pieces.

Anyone with time on their hands a dab hand with Photoshop want to take a swing at solving it before I do?
