Part 19: Day 417 Interlude: The Origin of the Death Star.
The True Origins of the Death Star Plans
A Long, Long Time in the Future,
In a Galaxy Far Far Away...
Space, the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: To explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before.
We join our valiant crew of the Enterprise in the middle of a tense stand-off with a long-forgotten foe!
: I make you a counter-proposal. I'll agree to your terms, if...if...in addition to yourself, you hand over to me all data and material regarding the project called Genesis.
: Genesis, what's that?
: Don't insult my intelligence, Kirk.
: Give me some time to recall the data on our computers...
: I give you sixty seconds, Admiral.
: Clear the bridge.
: Well, at least we know he doesn't have Genesis.
: Just keep nodding as though I'm still giving orders. For reasons too complex for me to get into right now, I'm going to be beaming all the data about the Genesis Project somewhere else.
: Somewhere else, Admiral?
:Yes. The past. A time long...long ago. In a galaxy. Far. Far away.
: That sounds logical.
In our galaxy, 10 years ago.
: Surfing the net, surfing the net, do dooo doo doo dooo...hey, what's this?
: Genesis Project? Man. I hate Phil Collins.
: Planet reforming laser? Man, what a waste. Why not just up the power by about 15% and just blow the planet up?
