November Cod Crisis: Canadian Turn 4

Ladies and Gentlemen (who am I kidding?), things are looking up immensely this turn.




Our Naval assets draw fire from all of the nearby Panzer III Turrets. We lose two PT boats for our trouble, but...





...our Paratroopers console their loss by destroying the three most threatening Turrets present on the battlefield.



Our eastern Para Company cuts down 2 infantry sections while losing nothing but small amounts of ammunition.

These gains may not seem like much, but consider that Sam. only had 1500 points to start off with. That was roughly 10% of his point expenditures, and up to 25-30% of his point expenditures in the Northern part of the field that we are currently occupying.




The state of our forces is as such: The western Paratrooper Company has moved up to a line facing the north to reduce fire from the tank and HMG section positioned there.

The eastern Company spent their turn fighting, but are poised to strike into the urban area (they could easily launch a pincer strike along with the western force).

The northern land infantry are positioned to support the others from either the north, or northwest.

Ultimately, now that the immediate threats have subsided, now we must assess the impact of Sam's turn and decide where we want our forces to move, and how.
