Well, Kasumi wins.

"Very well, President Lepant. Lord Riou, I will do my best to assist the Unicorn Army."

"Now, please accept this, Lord Riou, as a symbol of the friendship between the Unicorn Army and the Toran Republic. This is the 'Blinking Mirror,' one of the treasures of the Toran Republic. It was used in our war for independence, but now I suspect that you have more need of it than we do. If you use this item, you will return instantly to your castle. In the absence of its rightful owner, I respectflly loan it to the Unicorn Army, in your care."

"Good for you, Riou. That should help you out. Well, good luck to you. Huh? Me? I'm going to stay here. I'm out of play money and besides, I just hate fighting..."

"Ow! Hey, let go!"

"I have a request for you, Lord Riou. Take my idiot son with you. He's not worth much, but maybe you can make a man out of him."

"W... wait a minute!"

"Fool! I sent you intot he world on a training mission, but you just frittered your time and money away! Learn from Lord Riou's example and end your childish behavior. And don't come back until you do."

"But... but..."

"I entrust him to you, Lord Riou."

"Let's go, Lord Riou. We're running out of time."

"Sheena! Move!"

"Yeah, yeah..."

"Kasumi! Is that really you?"

"It's been a long time. I'll do my best to be of service."

This update is going to be filled with a lot of things like this...

"Lord Riou. The Highland Army is approaching. Luca Blight must be back. Let's hurry to Genkaku Castle."

"We don't have a second to spare."

"My name is Kasumi, vice-chieftain of Rokkaku Hamlet. President Lepant has ordered me to assist you to the best of my ability. I hope I'll be of use."

"We're gonna depend on you."

"I'm grateful. We've got a real chance to win now."

"Don't be so sure. According to my information, most of the Highland Army has already left Muse and is headed this way. Luca Blight's 1st Company and Jowy Atreides' 3rd Company... Plus the 4th Company, made up of General Kiba's former troops and reinforcements from Harmonia. That's a force of 50,000 troops."

"Calling for reinforcements from Harmonia... it looks like Luca is planning on finishing this in one decisive strike."

"They may be friendly nations, but that help from Harmonia will come at a high price........."

"And as for our side, even if you add General Kiba's soldiers and the reinforcements from Toran,w e've only got 20,000 soldiers."

"More than twice our numbers..."

"Lord Riou, you still look tired. Get some rest. We'll finish this conversation tomorrow."

"Worrying won't help things anyway."

"Our best strategy would be to capture Radat, then South Window and then finally Genkaku Castle."

"No. First we strike at their heart. Destroy their headquarters and the war will be over."

"Lord Luca is King of Highland. The King has his own ideas about how best to proceed."

"Let us be the advance guard."

"Hmm... as you like."

"I know that it's selfish, but would you mind going back to the house with me? That's all I came to say, I'm so embarassed."

Ryube has an Inn and a crappy Item shop now! That means it's recovering!

The enemies in the forest are the same we dealt with 30 minutes into the game.

"T... Tomo? What are you doing here?"

"I never hear from you, so I got worried and decided to come visit."

I wanted to show this so none of you thought I just got off some sort of anime binge.

"When are you and mom going to make up?"

Read that out loud if you don't notice the issue.

"Daddy. You need to get your life together. What are you doing with yourself now?"

"Well, Tomo-chan, the truth is I joined up with the Unicorn Army. I thought maybe my spear could be useful in the war."

"Oh daddy... Well in that case, I'm going to join the Unicorn Army, too."

"What are you talking about?"

"What's the problem? I can help the Unicorn Army, too. Or maybe I should tell Mom what you're up to... using your spear again and all."

"Tomo, wait."

"Your name is Riou, isn't it? I know. You're famous. I've decided that I'm going to fight alongside my father. Please let me join."

Hey, I have an idea. Let's randomly roam outside for no reason.

Holy shit a squirrel!

Holy shit another one!

This is about as as things get.

Oh, also: Cookoff #4 Next Cookoff won't feature the delicious Raw Tomato as dessert, so be on the lookout for it.

"The odds have been against us in almost every battle, but this one will be the toughest."

"If we lose here, Two River will also fall to the Highland Army. If that happens, the fate of the City State is sealed..."

"I don't want to think about that. That Prince Luca Blight, no, I mean King........."

"What!!! A general like Lord Ridley ambushed....."

"I didn't think the Highland Army had so many good people left."

"Could it be..... Leon Silverburg....... Lord Riou, Let's send reinforcements right away. We can't let them kill Lord Ridley."

Strategy Battle #8

It should be noted that it is entirely possible to save Ridley here. However, that makes the next part of this arc pretty terribly boring!

"All we can do is pray he'll be safe..."

"The Highland Army has already occupied Radat, and now they're approaching South Window. The enemy isn't just the Highland Army, it's also made up of soldiers from another country."

In case you're wondering, he sort of teleports in like Leknaat.

"What do you mean you 'know him'?"

"I don't have to tell you that."

"What did you say!!!"

"Hey hey! Don't fight with a kid."

"That's right. You should be embarassed losing your temper like that."

That guy!!!!

"If he's aiming for South Window, he'll probably attack by the book. He's got three times our numbers, so he doesn't need to be tricky. So in that case, our strategy will be........"
