Empress Yura pronounces that the time has come for their organization to be reborn: “fifteen years ago, by the hands of a lone traitor, we were forced into hiding. We lost not only the former emperor but, also, many of our own… But we have reacquired our strength! Now, we shall bear all our might and transform this world into the Underworld… and I, Empress Yura, shall rule over all as Hades!”
Rockfell interjects that they must, first, exact vengeance upon the traitor: Masaki Kihara. The villain who, fifteen years ago, stole Zeorymer of the Heavens from them and destroyed the center of Tekkoryu Fortress. However, Taiha passes on information that Masaki has actually passed away – and not even recently. Ritsu isn’t happy to hear this but Si Aen and Si Tau find that dying a dog’s death, hiding from them, is a fitting end for him.
Ergo, Taiha says that their priority now is simply to deal with the stolen Zeorymer. Yura asks who of the mighty Hakkeshu will take this mission?
“Allow me and my Burrston of the Mountains to see that it is done!” Gisou bellows; “No, grant this honor to the Briest of Flames and Gallowin of Waters!” Si Aen and Si Tau request in unison.
“Zeorymer of the Heavens will be no match against my Dinodilos of Earth!” Rockfell adds; “The Lanster of Winds shall bring about the first victory of the reborn Tekkoryu,” Taiha says, catching the eye of Yura.
“The Zeorymer was Masaki Kihara’s creation… if your wish is its absolute destruction, then you must send my Rose C’est La Vie of the Moon…” Rishu raises his hand.
And what about Saiga? “Though the Omzack of Thunder is incomplete, I’m confident that it would already prove superior to the other Hakkeshu robots,” he sniffs, beckoning a glare from Rockfell and Gisou to shake his fists at him. Lurahn, the old man, tries to calm things down by arguing that Omzack’s powers are still untested, so they shouldn’t deign to make comparisons.
With that in mind, Yura decides to have Taiha take care of things. She’s been informed that the Zeorymer is under the care of Last Guardian, a defense organization in Japan; he’s to recover or, if that proves impossible, destroy it. Taiha readily accepts and Yura leaves to personally see to the preparations for his departure.
After she goes, Saiga quips that she is pretty cold-hearted to send her beloved to a battle he might not return from; when Taiha bristles, he just tells him to relax. Ritsu extends an offer to take his place but Taiha will not have it and stomps out.
Rockfell isn’t happy, annoyed at how he gets special treatment as the Empress’ lover but Gisou sighs that they cannot go against her decision. Still, neither Si Aen nor Si Tau see the odds in Taiha’s favor when he goes up against the Zeorymer.
“Hmhmhm… Let’s see you be a good boy for the empress, Taiha,” Saiga laughs.
Over by the hangar, Taiha meets with Yura: “I’d like to think that I understand what you’re saying: that you want me to prove myself worthy of being the lover of the Tekkoryu’s leader. I swear that I shall fulfill my mission… though I ask one thing in return. Tell me that you are sending me out to fight because you love me.
Yura snaps at him to watch his tongue – who does he think he’s talking to? All the Hakkeshu warriors are her tools to command and carrying out her will is all that should be on his mind.
Taiha nods and walks off, leaving Yura to frown: “I am the empress of the Tekkoryu… I cannot simply tell you, alone, to just come back alive… I cannot tell you not to go… Oh, Taiha…”
Location: GEAR HQ
Inoue reports that the Dendoh seems to be basically in good shape, and its pilots rapidly becoming acclimated to it - thanks to Bright, Shibuya figures.
As for certain “things”, he says one Eris Willamette has already uncovered a number of clues. And, now that the Dendoh is active, it may only be a matter of time before they show up for us – which means they must get the Cell Fighter ready to deploy ASAP. Eris and Kirakuni are already at the production plant, so they’ll be able to field it the moment it is complete.
Last Guardian then phones in, with the commander, Oki, having seen that GEAR’s Operation D was a success.
Shibuya say that was only the start, though, as the Gulfer’s Spiral Castle on the Moon allows them to fight the long war against us. Oki didn’t know the thing had a name and assumes that intel came from “her”. Indeed but Shibuya asks if there’s a particular reason for this call.
The reason is that Oki’s just received some info that an enormous mobile weapon has been recently spotted by the Federation’s Changchun base. It's already vanished, but they have a picture... and it's something Shibuya recognizes: a Hakke Robot.
This means that the Haudragon, the Last Guardian’s foes, are finally on the move and Oki’s sure they’ll soon be targeting his organization. GEAR and Last Guardian were originally a single entity, so Shibuya asks if there’s anything they can do to help.
Oki appreciates it but says there’s no need for Shibuya to worry: they have a way of dealing with this. Shibuya gasps and asks if they’re going to activate IT. They are, having already managed to find a pilot – he’s currently detained. Come again?
Oki explains that the kid’s lived an unremarkable life for fifteen years now, so they’re taking appropriate measures to stimulate his fighting spirit in the short amount of time they’ve left. Like the Dendoh pilots, Masato is predestined to do battle.
Regardless, Shibuya will send the Nahel Argama to help out should worse come to worse...

What’s that huge robot?!: I knew it… The Haudragon…!: “Haudragon”?!: The other name of the secret society Tekkoryu. : The secret society… Tekkoryu…? : (Why… why does that name sound familiar…?): Should we call for backup from the army, Mr. Oki? : We didn’t put in an official request but the Nahel Argama should already be on its way.: Are you sure about that?: Don’t worry about it – they’re close allies to Last Guardian. Take a look at that Dimensional Coupling System again. Yeah, this bot’s broken and it doesn’t even have all of its tricks. So, the question you should ask when deploying it is this: do you want Masato to solo the entire mission? Because he will, if you don’t keep him on a tight leash.
Masato himself is a decent pilot and fits the ranged-focused Zeorymer nicely, though he’ll probably wan Hit & Away soon. Knowing Iron Wall right out the box is a good safety measure until he reaches 130 morale – SP Regen is always recommended.
Taiha’s pretty far away, so we’ll just move forward and let him come to us.

I’ve heard that the Lanster’s attacks are written in Chinese but I don’t know any of that and I couldn’t find anything conclusive online. Anyone got some input?

Bright’s cousin really is pretty jacked up – big stats where it matters and the Lanster’s powerful. Thankfully, it takes a lot of morale for him to use his strongest attack.
Keep Iron Wall up and wear him down, slowly but surely.
I’m pulling Masato back just a wee bit so he can blast the Lanster with his stronger attack – it’s not post-movement, though.
