The Fall: Last Days of Gaia

Part 27: Intermission 7. Soundtrack- part 2

The next update is recorded and I'll process it tomorrow, have some music for today!

Intermission 7
The sound of the apocalypse - part two.

A jaunty background, reminds me a lot of Monkey Island.

No idea why this was also tagged as "fun". It's a pretty sad background with guitars and flutes.

An orchestral background that is played quite often. It shouldn't surprise you that it's sad.

A quite eery and haunting background. Is also used a lot.

Another sadground from the heavy rotation.

This one is pretty chill, for a change.

Kinda chill and kinda sad. The best of both worlds.

An instrumental version of the theme. Still rad!

This one is cool. It plays when you travel on the map. I like it very much! So much that I sampled the voice for a beat some years ago.

The alternate map travel track. It's pretty much the same but without the voice.

This one plays during loading screens and is also pretty neat.

The alternate loading track. It is kind of a mix of the previous and the maptrack but still cool.

And that's it!
I know it's kind of hard for you readers to make the connection, but the music fits the game very well. The maps are(mostly) competently designed and the music creates a lot of atmosphere with the visuals. I would say that the atmosphere is the biggest strongpoint this title has. And the music is surprisingly well produced, if you consider all the other shortcomings.
