Part 117: Chapter 12, Part 4

Depressing Drawers posted:

Fuck, did you really kill that kid ? Do you have to in order to progress?

It's a moral dilemma. If you decide not to kill her she dies from the poison, but it's much more painful. Either way, the Guardian makes you feel like a monster.

Terfin: Part 3

Video

The teleporter drops us off in a room with a locked door.

Touching the painting unlocks it.

This part of the dungeon is absolutely flooded with Wyrmguard.

At the first intersection we go right.

As soon as we enter the room we are sealed inside.

We grab the Power Cube off of the desk...

And take the pentagram-portal to a small cave.

We grab a red power cube from the cave,

portal back,

and install it in the pedestal to reopen the room.

Next we go straight down the hallway.

Eventually we reach a Wrymguard hive.

We grab the key and the Power Cube off of this desk.

Pushing on the loose block reveals this hidden doorway back by the first intersection in this part.

The door behind the statue of the Guardian unlocks with the key we got from the Wyrmguard barracks. The door puts us in the middle of a hallway that stretches east to west.

Pressing the blue button opens the jail cell.

When we go inside, the gate closes behind us.

One ledge has a key.

The other has a lever. Pulling it reveals a hidden door in the back of the cell. I'm not even going to comment on how effective a prison this would be.

The chamber behind the cell has a series of fire pits we have to jump across to reach the crank at the back. Turning the crank re-opens the gate.

Once we're back out in the hallway we go west. Eventually we reach a closed portcullis.

To our right are a number of Telekinesis scrolls.

Short of prematurely casting Armageddon, the only way to get around the portcullis is to cast Telekinesis on a button on the far wall.

Up ahead we run into a pleasant fellow.

: You've made a big mistake, my friend. I've been waiting for a long time to get at you and here you are!
: You are confused, friend. I am the Avatar.
: Ha! That's the biggest lie you've told yet!
: You'll stop at nothing to save your skin, you lying, cheating dog!
: Well, you may have turned the Guardian against me, but now my time for revenge has come!
: Listen, I am the Avatar. AV-A-TAR!!
: So, you think that you can mock me as well as cheat me? Once I've killed you, I'm going back to the Guardian.
: Once he finds out what you did, he'll take me back and then, someday, Britannia will be mine! Now, all I have to do is kill you!

We kill him the old-fashioned way.

Behind this painting is a button.

The button opens a nearby gate...

...which was protecting a chest containing a treasure room key.

Finally, we head back to the prison hallway and go in the opposite direction.

On the left near the end of the hallway is a small room.

Clicking on the suit of armor makes the Death scroll appear. For those of you who are keeping track, we have now found every single spell in the game.

And with that, we continue around the corner.
