War in the East

by Grey Hunter

Part 19

Leningrad surrounded, lets see what damage I can cause here.

And right off the bat, I've taken out nearly twenty thousand defenders.

I also level off another section.

9th Army pushes back the enemy along a line – this is more for breathing room than anything else.

In the Tula bulge, we eliminate all but one of the enemy units trapped and shrink our line somewhat. I plan on giving up this entire area now, so that I can better defend my front.

6th Army makes a few attacks to straighten their line, giving me a few divisions to play with as a reserve.

17th Army does the same, but the Romanians cannot, and the Russian bridgehead is Rostov, with its now 61 CV in defence.

In the Crimea we get within 20 kilometres of Sevatopol, but run into a level 4 fort that may well slow us down – we do isolate the city from all but port supplies, and trap two enemy units.

Next to nothing, although some Partizan’s were active.

While 60,000 may not be a stunning number of casualties, its better than nothing, and there are now a few less troops defending Leningrad.

Although another 100,000 men have been added to the Russian score, they are mobilizing hard now.

You know the drill by now.
