Part 696: Operational Report: 02/11/43

The Express has been active recently, and the Japanese don't like this.

After a good day yesterday, the Japanese are back to normal at Haichow today.

Shoot straight you fools – on the other hand, look at all the subs in the region!

The Express meets some serious resistance, and takes out some of the attacking planes, but cannot hit their target.

The Betties have come in for Hollandia once more, but it ends poorly for them.

I've decided that I'm going to take Manus, as it threatens my control of the Bismark Sea.

It does seem that Akyab is as far north as the enemy bombers are willing to ask.

And I've moved a few more planes south. The green Mustang pilots take some losses, but we bloody the Japanese for it.

The first assault at Rangoon goes in, but our men are heavily modified. Lets hope that they can break through those fortifications.

I'm not sure our bombers are working at max altitude, but I'll give them a few more days.

I'm loading troops for an invasion of Maleolap – this may go poorly, but I need to take it out to secure the area. The enemy have been cut off for a good time now, and should be low on supplies.
