Part 65: Turn 68 - 14th October 1944
Another week without German attacks.
Oh dear, I don't think that will be good enough!
It's not looking much better to the south.
A bout of poor weather grounds most of my planes.
I break for the sea, and there is little the Germans can do about stopping me now.
Encircling is much better than fighting!
But fighting is still needed.
We take out a trapped Panzer Brigade.
I surround Stuttgart, but I'm not sure I have to troops to take it.
9th Army continues to advance.
I bring the Canadians back from the advance to fight north.
These guys stubbornly hold.
I make it through the gap anyway.
This limits my advance into Germany, but I think you'll agree it's worth it!
Advances are being made.
Must. Advance. South.
Some of the German units are on the ropes.
