Chapter 6-X: Helga

Thanks for your patience, everyone. This update will be slightly different since there's mostly video. Don't worry, a proper update is in the works.

We've got a few new jobs in the Tavern we can do now that we're explored some of B6. As the title of this chapter implies, however, we'll be focusing on just one:

Ugh... let's just get this over with. Helga's job can best be summarized by her own trademarked speech pattern.

The gist of it is, Helga gives us the Houndsword to swing around during battle. Fortunately it's a special item that doesn't even take up a slot in the inventory, so you don't actually have to worry about equipping it. She wants us to fight thirty battles to grab the attention of all the people in the Labyrinth. Since it doesn't matter how easy or difficult the fight is, the easiest thing to do is to slaughter enemies on B1 for about twenty minutes until you reach your quota.

Personally, I took the time to go seeking out some of the materials I hadn't sold to the shop guy yet, so it was also a pretty good experience grind on B5.

The Vellum given for completing this quest is actually really good. It creates the Will Stone:

Only Sara is able to use it, though, given its level. Still, you only need the one stone to master it.

That's all that the quest itself requires, but there's more to be done after.

If you recall that room we entered upon first meeting Helga (The one with her diary), that's where the auction takes place. Since it's Helga, naturally it doesn't quite go as planned...

Hahahahaha... I think I found a new wallpaper.

Anyway, this is where we finally use that Dragon Heart we've been keeping floating around in the inventory. Dragon Hearts heal HP when used, and for some reason Helga wants one instead of, say, a healing potion or spell.

You can also be a total dick and not give her one, which is vaguely satisfying in its own way since it keeps her looking like she got the everloving shit beat out of her, but the ultimate reward for helping her is:

Another Quartz! Things are coming together nicely.

Oh, and the best reward is saved for last:

Finally!

Coming up in the next (real) update:

This is the happiest day of my life.

See you next time!
